Why is Ice slippery

Introduction

Ice is very slippery when its snowing out side with ice it is dangerous to drive. But for sledding it is a good thing to have as much speed and ice can give that. But what makes ice slippery? Many people think it is the solid of the ice but it is actually the water in side. Scientists have discovered that there is a very thin layer of water that exist at the outer most part of the ice. Even the ice that is freezing.
